Hey, how are you? I’ve been over here eating too much chocolate and trying to navigate my way through this data-saturated world we’re living in. There are so many options, so much information, and it can be hard to know where to focus.

Whatever you want to know, you can access so much information so quickly that you’re suddenly swimming in an ocean of potential. This can be about health or vacation planning or a job search - anything.

As I explore which path to take when presented with way too many choices, this is what helps me.

  1. A feeling of YES!
  2. A real connection with someone.

The decisions that have worked out the best for me are those that felt like a big YES along with a great connection with someone. That connection comes from a real time interaction, whether in-person or on a call. I’ve said YES to being the Chair of the Board of two large nonprofit organizations, and YES to two big household moves, all which were fantastic experiences because they had those two elements at their foundation.

When it comes to your health, what’s your YES? What feels so true, exciting, and nourishing that it lights you up? Is someone supporting you, either a friend, family member, or someone on your health team? That one-on-one connection is a powerful energy source, but it only works if you’ve got a big YES feeling about it.
